The PS8645 is a highly integrated single chip solution that simplifies development by minimizing the engineering necessary to make a good sounding system. Developed for 2.0/2.1/2.2-ch digital docking/PC speaker applications, it implements USB digital audio streaming from an iPod, iPhone, iPad, other smartphones/tablets, and PCs.

Lossless full-digital interfaces and amplification that ensures true hi-fi audio performance. HD PWM correction guarantees highly precise natural sound. Extensive digital signal processing and easy speaker tuning features equip this superb sounding system with flat frequency response, rich sound, extended bass and sound field. The target system may be developed with minimal components and HW engineering.

This is due to PS8645’s integrated MCU, audio input/output interfaces, and peripherals. Moreover, system development is made even simpler by the product development kit and MiCOM SDK that are included.
